On December 14, 2025, SEPC Limited executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jai Ambey Roadlines Private Limited (JARPL) and Avinash Transport (AT).  

These companies have formed the JARPL-AT Consortium to undertake a mining project awarded by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL). The project is located at the Rampur Batura Opencast Coal Mine in the Sohagpur Area, District Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. 

Order Details 

The project, valued at approximately ₹3,300 crore (inclusive of GST), involves excavation, loading, transportation, unloading of soil and coal, and surface mining activities.  

The consortium's composition includes JARPL holding an 80% stake and Avinash Transport holding a 20% stake, with SEPC Limited acting as a strategic partner. 

Project Execution Timeline and Scope 

The mining project is set to be executed over a period of 3,652 days, equivalent to roughly 10 years from the date of contract execution. This extensive timeframe underscores the project's scale and complexity, requiring meticulous planning and execution.

Significance of the Project for SEPC Limited 

This collaboration is a material event for SEPC Limited, given the project's substantial value and potential impact on the company's operations. The project is a domestic venture, with no involvement of international entities, and does not fall within related party transactions. 

SEPC Share Price Performance  

As of December 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM, SEPC share price on NSE was trading at ₹10.29 up by 12.83% from the previous closing price.
