
Sammaan Capital Limited, formerly Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited, has entered a new phase following a significant investment from International Holding Company PJSC (IHC).
This development includes the appointment of a new director, Alwyn Dinesh Crasta, enhancing the company's strategic direction.
International Holding Company PJSC (IHC) has made a strategic investment in Sammaan Capital, totalling ₹8,850 crore.
This investment, one of the largest foreign direct investments in the Indian NBFC sector, is set to transform Sammaan Capital into an IHC Group Company.
IHC now holds 28.41% of Sammaan's equity share capital, with expectations to increase to 41.24% upon full conversion of subscription warrants.
The investment process involved an infusion of ₹5,652.75 crore towards equity shares and subscription warrants.
An upfront payment of ₹1,065.75 crore was made, representing 25% of the total consideration for subscription warrants.
The remaining ₹3,197.25 crore will be payable upon conversion of these warrants into equity shares, which must occur by September 30, 2027.

Alongside the investment, Sammaan Capital has appointed Alwyn Dinesh Crasta as an Additional Non-Executive Non-Independent Director.
Crasta, an experienced financial executive, currently serves as Group CFO at IHC, Abu Dhabi. His expertise spans over 25 years in various sectors, including financial services and investments.
The association with IHC brings several benefits to Sammaan Capital, including enhanced capital depth and credibility, operational expertise, and improved brand perception.
The investment is expected to bolster the company's commitment to high corporate governance standards and leverage IHC's technology and AI ecosystem for strategic growth opportunities.
As of May 15, 2026, at 10:34 AM, Sammaan Capital share price on NSE was trading at ₹142.40 down by 0.51% from the previous closing price.
