Reliance Retail Limited operates as a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), which serves as the holding company for all retail businesses within the Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) group.
Pahadi Local is a fast-growing Indian brand known for its nature-inspired formulations and use of Himalayan ingredients in skincare and wellness products.
The move is aimed at strengthening Reliance Retail’s presence in the personal care and wellness market by integrating brands that combine traditional knowledge with modern product development.
Pahadi Local was founded with the mission of bringing the purity of Himalayan ingredients into everyday personal care. The brand has built a strong reputation for clean formulations, ethical sourcing, and sustainable practices. Its products are inspired by traditional wellness knowledge from the Himalayan region and are developed using modern formulation techniques.
One of the brand’s signature ingredients is Gutti Ka Tel, also known as apricot kernel oil, which has gained popularity among consumers for its skincare benefits. The ingredient and the brand’s focus on indigenous sourcing have also received recognition from Narendra Modi for promoting local enterprise and sustainable practices.
