The pledge includes 3,10,407 shares to Infina Finance and 90,037 shares to HSBC InvestDirect.
The total promoter holding in PVR INOX stands at 54,47,205 shares, representing 5.55% of the total share capital. Prior to this event, 25,44,000 shares, or 2.59% of the total share capital, were already encumbered.
Following the creation of this pledge, the total number of encumbered shares has increased to 29,44,444, which is 3% of the total share capital. The pledge was made for personal borrowing purposes, as disclosed by Ajay Kumar Bijli.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 31(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. This regulation mandates promoters to disclose any encumbrance of shares to the stock exchanges and the target company.
As of December 30, 2025, at 3:10 PM, PVR INOX share price on NSE was trading at ₹995.60 down by 1.89% from the previous closing price.
