On October 2, 2026, Punjab National Bank (PNB) released its provisional business figures for the half-year ending September 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.  

The data reveals growth in both global and domestic business sectors, alongside increases in deposits and advances. 

Growth in Global and Domestic Business 

As of Quarter Ending September 30, 2026, PNB's global business stood at ₹31,19,790 crore, marking a quarter-on-quarter growth of 4.06% and a year-on-year increase of 11.95%.  

The domestic business reached ₹29,70,279 crore, reflecting a 3.35% rise from the previous quarter and a 10.75% increase compared to the same period last year. 

Increase in Deposits and Advances 

Global deposits grew to ₹17,77,097 crore, showing a 3.03% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 9.90% rise year-on-year.  

Domestic deposits were reported at ₹17,11,696 crore, with a 2.49% increase from the previous quarter and a 9.44% rise compared to the previous year.

Advances and CD Ratio 

PNB's global advances reached ₹13,42,693 crore, marking a 5.46% quarter-on-quarter growth and a 14.80% year-on-year increase.  

Domestic advances were at ₹12,58,583 crore, reflecting a 4.55% rise from the previous quarter and a 12.59% increase compared to the same period last year. The global Credit-Deposit (CD) ratio improved to 75.56%. 

Punjab National Bank Share Price Performance 

As of October 01, 2026, at 3:30 PM, Punjab National Bank share price on NSE was closed at ₹109.57, down by 3.09% from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion 

PNB's provisional figures for the half-year ended September 30, 2026, indicate growth across global and domestic business, deposits, and advances. Global business rose to ₹31,19,790 crore, while domestic business reached ₹29,70,279 crore. Global deposits and advances increased to ₹17,77,097 crore and ₹13,42,693 crore, respectively.
