
Petronet LNG has released its consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2026. The company experienced a decrease in total income but reported an increase in net profit for the March 2026 quarter.
In the March 2026 quarter, Petronet LNG's total income fell by 22.9% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹9,642.30 crore, compared to ₹12,513.15 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
Sequentially, the total income also decreased by 15.3% from ₹11,377.38 crore in the December 2025 quarter.
Despite the decline in total income, the company saw a significant rise in net profit. The net profit for the March 2026 quarter increased by 25.3% YoY to ₹1,337.59 crore, up from ₹1,067.58 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), the net profit surged by 58.2% from ₹845.50 crore in the December 2025 quarter.
For the financial year 2025-26, Petronet LNG's total income declined by 14.3% YoY, amounting to ₹44,358.98 crore, down from ₹51,755.00 crore in the previous financial year.
However, the net profit for the year saw a slight decrease of 1.9% YoY, totalling ₹3,809.41 crore compared to ₹3,883.92 crore in the prior year.
The Board of Directors of Petronet LNG has recommended a final dividend of ₹3.00 per share for the financial year 2025-26.
This proposed dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The record date and payment or dispatch date for the dividend will be announced in due course.
