Pace Digitek Share Price Surges Over 10%; Secures ₹488.46 Crore BESS Order from NGSL

Pace Digitek has added another large order to its battery storage business, with its subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL) receiving a ₹488.46 crore (₹4,884.61 million) contract from NTPC GE Power Services Private Limited (NGSL). The order is for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project at Barh STPP, covering NTPC Stages I and II.
The contract includes the supply and commissioning of BESS containers as well as systems needed to manage the batteries. It also comes with maintenance and warranty support after deployment.
Order Covers BESS Supply and Commissioning
LPPL will supply the BESS containers and handle testing, supervision of erection and commissioning. The scope also includes Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
The battery containers will be covered by five years of Annual Maintenance Services and another seven years of extended warranty. The order is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2026.
Pace Digitek Expands BESS Capacity
Pace Digitek said it operationalised 2.5 GWh of BESS manufacturing capacity in 2025 and later increased this to 5 GWh. The company plans to take capacity towards 10 GWh by the third quarter of FY2027.
It has also delivered BESS containers representing more than 1.5 GWh of capacity so far. LPPL is being developed across manufacturing, product supply, system integration and lifecycle support.
Management Sees Scope Beyond Utility Projects
Venugopalrao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek, said the order strengthens LPPL's product-led BESS business by bringing together supply, commissioning and long-term lifecycle support.
He added that the company is working to build an energy platform serving utility-scale requirements as well as commercial and industrial applications, while continuing to invest in energy-storage capabilities.

As of 22 September 2026, at 11:25 AM, Pace Digitek Ltd share price is trading at ₹171.19 per share, reflecting a surge of 10.55% from the previous trading session.
Conclusion
The ₹488.46 crore order gives LPPL work across the BESS supply and commissioning cycle, along with long-term support obligations. With the project scheduled for completion by December 31, 2026, the contract adds to Pace Digitek's ongoing BESS expansion.
