P N Gadgil Jewellers Share Price in Focus; Reports 22.4% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY27

P N Gadgil Jewellers reported a 22.4% year-on-year (YoY) rise in revenue for Q2 FY27, despite Navratri falling in the third quarter this year. The company released its quarterly business update on October 8, 2026.
Retail revenue increased 31.1%, with same-store sales growth at 25.5%. Franchise revenue rose 34.7% during the quarter.
E-commerce revenue, however, fell 83.6% as the company reduced its focus on lower-margin gold coin sales and shifted towards jewellery products.
Gold, Diamond and Silver Sales
Gold revenue grew 23.5% YoY in Q2 FY27, while diamond revenue increased 21% and silver revenue rose 12%. The retail studded jewellery ratio stood at 11.8%, compared with 9% in the same quarter last year. In the northern region, the ratio reached 17.4%.
Gold coins and bars accounted for 15.8% of retail revenue, down from 23.3% a year earlier. Old gold exchange transactions made up 38% of sales, compared with 29% in Q2 FY26.
Raksha Bandhan sales also increased during the quarter. The number of pieces sold rose 114%, while sales value grew 142% compared with the corresponding period last year.
New Stores and Brand Changes
P N Gadgil Jewellers opened two stores during Q2 FY27. These included a Legacy-format store in Gurugram and a YOOU outlet at Amanora Mall in Pune. The company also replaced its LiteStyle brand with YOOU, a label focused on lightweight and everyday jewellery.
As of 30 September 2026, the company had 80 stores, including 79 in India and one in the United States.
Expansion Plans for FY27
The company plans to open around 23 more stores during FY27, taking the total count to approximately 103. It has secured 10 store commitments, comprising six Legacy stores and four YOOU stores.
The Ayodhya store was scheduled to open by mid-October, while the Prayagraj outlet was expected in early November. Further expansion is planned across northern and central India.
