Ola Electric Mobility Limited has introduced the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh, extending its scooter lineup with a higher battery capacity option. The model is part of the Gen 3 S1 platform and sits within the company’s mid-segment offerings.
An introductory price of ₹1,29,999 has been set for a limited period until 15 April 2026.
The scooter is powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell, developed in-house. This is wider use of the company’s own battery cell technology beyond its premium products.
The company operates a vertically integrated structure covering cell development, battery pack assembly, and vehicle production. This allows common components to be deployed across different models.
The S1 X+ 5.2 kWh delivers a claimed IDC range of 320 km on a single charge. It has a top speed of 125 km/h.
The vehicle uses an 11 kW mid-drive motor with an integrated motor control unit. These specifications place it above lower-capacity S1 X variants in terms of performance.
The scooter is equipped with a front disc brake along with a Brake-by-Wire system. These components are intended to support braking response and control during routine use.
Such features have been included in this variant alongside the higher battery capacity.
The S1 X+ 5.2 kWh forms part of a wider product range that includes multiple battery configurations across the S1 series. The lineup spans entry-level to higher-capacity variants under the same platform.
The company also offers electric motorcycles under the Roadster X series, with battery sizes ranging from 2.5 kWh to 9.1 kWh.
