
Nibe Limited on January 2, 2026, informed the stock exchanges that it has signed a supply contract with the Indian Army under the Ministry of Defence.
The disclosure was made in line with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The contract is valued at ₹292.69 crore, inclusive of all taxes and duties. The Indian Army has awarded the order, making it a domestic defence contract. No overseas entity is involved in the transaction, as stated in the regulatory filing.
As per the filing, the contract involves the manufacturing and supply of ground equipment, accessories, ESP and ammunition. These supplies are meant for a Universal Rocket Launcher System.
The launcher system can integrate multiple rocket types, including those designed to strike targets at ranges of 150 km and 300 km.
The company said the order will be executed and delivered in tranches over a period of 12 months. The phased delivery approach is part of the agreed contract terms. Nibe did not provide a detailed schedule for individual tranches in its disclosure.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nibe is required to submit a performance-cum-warranty bank guarantee equal to 10% of the total contract value.
This guarantee must be furnished within 30 days from the date of signing the contract and is calculated on the contract value including taxes and duties.
The company clarified that the contract does not fall under related party transactions. It also stated that the promoter or promoter group entities do not have any interest in the awarding authority.
As of January 5, 2026, 11:04 am, Nibe Ltd share price was trading at ₹1,304, a 5.43% increase from the closing price.
