MTAR Technologies Share Price Surges; Secures ₹126.74 Crore NPCIL Order for Reactor Refurbishment

MTAR Technologies has secured fresh purchase orders worth ₹126.74 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), adding another order to its civil nuclear business, as per the exchange filing. The orders relate to the refurbishment of two operating nuclear reactors in India.
The company said the orders are part of its ongoing business relationship with NPCIL and will be executed by May 26, 2028.
Order Covers RAPS-4 and MAPS-2 Reactors
The contract is for the supply of coolant channel assemblies required for the refurbishment of the RAPS-4 and MAPS-2 reactors. While the filing confirms the total order value, it does not provide a project-wise breakup between the two reactors.
NPCIL has awarded the purchase orders, and MTAR will execute the work over the next two years.
Nuclear Order Book Crosses ₹775 Crore
Parvat Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director of MTAR Technologies, said the company has secured several orders in the civil nuclear segment over the past few months.
Reddy said MTAR's nuclear order book has now crossed ₹775 crore, the highest in the company's history. He also said the company expects a steady flow of orders from the sector over the coming years.
