One of the suspension orders was issued by the Assistant Director, Drugs Control Administration, Madikeri Circle, Karnataka.
The order relates to a MedPlus store located on Kohinoor Road, Madikeri, where the drug licence has been suspended for a period of two days. The company stated that the order was received on May 22, 2026.
The 2nd order was issued by the Assistant Director, Drugs Control Administration, Bangalore Circle-4. Under this order, the drug licence of a store situated at Nagarabhavi 2nd Stage, Karnataka, has been suspended for three days.
According to the company’s disclosure, the suspension orders were issued under Rule 65 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
The filing did not provide further details regarding the specific nature of the alleged violations.
The company disclosed the development under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations as a material event requiring notification to investors.
MedPlus estimated a potential revenue loss of ₹0.54 lakh from the suspension of the Madikeri store licence. The Nagarabhavi 2nd Stage store could face a potential revenue loss of ₹1.98 lakh during the suspension period.
Based on the company’s estimates, the combined potential revenue impact from both actions stands at approximately ₹2.52 lakh. The disclosure did not indicate any broader operational impact on the company’s retail network.
