Man Industries Share Price Up Nearly 4%; Gets Preferred Manufacturers List Approval from QatarEnergy

Man Industries (India) Ltd has been included in QatarEnergy’s Preferred Manufacturers List (PML) for Carbon Steel Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipes, coating and bends.
The company disclosed the development through an exchange filing dated August 14, 2026.
Eligibility for Projects
The inclusion means Man Industries can bid for large-diameter pipe requirements across QatarEnergy’s project pipeline.
QatarEnergy’s capital expenditure programme covers exploration, production and infrastructure, alongside its LNG expansion programme.
The company said the approval comes alongside its existing relationships with national oil companies in the Middle East. Its Saudi Arabia presence was expanded following the acquisition of NPC.
Manufacturing Facilities
Man Industries was established in 1970 by the Mansukhani family. It manufactures large-diameter carbon steel line pipes using LSAW, HSAW, and ERW technologies, as well as pipe coating solutions.
Following the NPC acquisition, the company has three manufacturing facilities at Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh, Anjar in Gujarat and Saudi Arabia. Their combined installed capacity is over 1.6 million MTPA.
Products and Sectors
The company supplies pipeline products to oil and gas, petrochemicals, water transmission, fertilisers, dredging, hydrocarbons, and city gas distribution businesses.
Man Industries is also preparing to commission a coating facility in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The company said its NPC acquisition and the Dammam facility have expanded its manufacturing and coating presence across India and Saudi Arabia.
Management Comments
Mr. Nikhil Mansukhani, Managing Director of MAN Industries, said, “Our inclusion in QatarEnergy's Preferred Manufacturers List for LSAW pipes, Coating and Bends is an important recognition of MAN's manufacturing quality, technical capability, and consistency in meeting the stringent standards demanded by national oil companies.”
