LTM Limited, formerly LTIMindtree, has announced that it will lead the deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot across the Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Group, supporting one of India's largest enterprise AI workplace transformation programmes, as per the exchange filings.
The rollout will enable around 140,000 employees across the group to use AI-powered tools to improve productivity, collaboration, decision-making and customer outcomes.
According to LTM, the enterprise-wide implementation is aimed at embedding AI into everyday work across L&T's businesses.
The initiative is designed to help employees resolve issues faster while improving AI-assisted workflows and operational efficiency across functions and geographies.
LTM will deploy Agent A.S.K. (Agent for Stories and Knowledge), a conversational AI solution that helps sales teams reuse existing content, and RAIma, an AI-powered HR assistant offering personalised support through chat and voice.
As the largest Microsoft 365 Copilot adopter in the L&T Group, LTM said RAIma has improved IT and HR query resolution by 70% and increased employee engagement and HR productivity by 15%.
The company added that over 23,000 developers use AI tools daily, supported by more than 1,300 AI experts and enablement leads.
LTM said it has worked closely with Microsoft to expand AI adoption and establish responsible AI practices supported by governance frameworks covering security, privacy, compliance and ethical AI use.
The company added that more than 90% of its workforce has been trained in Generative AI, with AI being integrated across onboarding, learning, delivery, sales and support.
Venu Lambu, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of LTM, said AI is changing how organisations work and create value. He added that the company is equipping employees with intelligent tools and, together with Microsoft, is moving from pilot programmes to enterprise-wide AI adoption.
Puneet Chandok, President, Microsoft India and South Asia, said the deployment represents a shift from experimentation to large-scale AI adoption and will help improve productivity, decision-making and value creation across the organisation.
