LTIMindtree and Xage Security have formed a strategic partnership to introduce identity-based Zero Trust security across critical infrastructure sectors.
As per the press release, the agreement focuses on strengthening access controls for IT, OT, and cloud systems, areas where many organisations still rely on older network structures and limited verification processes.
The partnership is built around the Xage Fabric Platform, which combines remote access control, segmentation, privileged access handling, and policy enforcement into one framework.
Instead of using broad network rules, the platform assigns permissions based on the identity of each user or device. This structure is to work across dispersed operations and equipment that may vary widely in age and capability.
Sectors such as energy, chemicals, utilities, and transportation continue to operate with a mix of legacy systems and newer digital layers. Common problems include weak authentication, unclear access paths, and remote access that is not consistently monitored.
As IT and OT systems become more interconnected, gaps in these setups increase exposure to unauthorised access and system disruption.
LTIMindtree will guide the rollout of Xage Fabric for clients, applying identity-driven access controls across both older and modern systems.
This is to simplify how organisations manage permissions without requiring major changes to existing infrastructure. The companies say the system can be deployed in stages, allowing operations to continue while security controls are added.
LTIMindtree’s Chief Information Security Officer, Chandan Pani, stated that the firm will support clients in improving their security posture while continuing their digital work.
Xage’s Chief Revenue Officer, Russell McGuire, said the partnership will help more operators use identity-based models across their networks.
As of December 10, 2025, 09:30 am, LTIMindtree share price was trading at ₹6,266, a 0.33% increase from the previous closing price.

The collaboration brings a structured access-control approach to industries that depend on a blend of IT and OT systems. By using identity as the basis for verification, the partnership targets long-standing weaknesses in critical infrastructure cybersecurity.
