
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced a final dividend of ₹10 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26. Investors who wish to receive the dividend must ensure they own the shares before the ex-date.
LIC has declared a final dividend of ₹10 per equity share with a face value of ₹10 each for FY26. However, the dividend is subject to approval by shareholders at the company's fifth Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is scheduled for July 27, 2026.
The company has fixed June 25, 2026, as both the ex-date and record date for the dividend.
Since India follows a T+1 settlement cycle, investors must purchase LIC shares on or before June 24, 2026, to ensure that the shares are credited to their demat account by the record date. Investors buying the stock on or after June 25 will not be eligible to receive the dividend.
According to the company's exchange filing, the final dividend will be paid within 30 days of shareholder approval at the AGM.
If approved, the dividend payment will be made on or before August 25, 2026, to eligible shareholders whose names appear in the company's records and the beneficiary lists maintained by NSDL and CDSL as of the record date.

The stock opened at ₹440.10 and touched an intraday high of ₹442.55 and a low of ₹433.45. LIC currently has a market capitalisation of approximately ₹5.52 lakh crore and is trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 9.61.
