Lemon Tree Hotels Share Price in Focus; Opens New 71-Room Resort in Nashik

Lemon Tree Hotels has opened a new resort in Nashik, giving the company its second property in the city. As per the exchange filing, the 71-room Lemon Tree Resort is located in Girnare, close to Gangapur Dam, with the backwaters forming the setting around the property.  

The resort comes with rooms, restaurants, and facilities for both regular stays and larger gatherings. Its opening also takes Lemon Tree's operational hotel count in Maharashtra to 16.  

A 71-Room Property Near Gangapur Dam 

The resort has Deluxe Twin and Double Rooms, Studio Suites and Lake View suites. Along with the rooms, guests have access to a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and kids' play area. 

Food and leisure options include Citrus Café, Slounge and in-room dining.  

Space For Weddings and Corporate Events 

The property has two event spaces, Grand Tangerine and Tangerine. They can be used for destination weddings, conferences, corporate retreats, meetings and social gatherings. 

There is also a landscaped lawn facing the Gangapur Dam backwaters, giving the resort an outdoor space for celebrations.  

Management Points to Nashik's Changing Tourism Mix 

Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels, said Nashik has been developing as a destination for leisure and celebrations while continuing to attract visitors for business, pilgrimage and wine tourism. 

He said the resort has been designed for different types of stays, from family trips to corporate gatherings. Cheema also said the company sees potential for this type of property as leisure and experiential travel grows in India.  

Convenient Access to Local Attractions 

The resort is around 33 km from Nashik Airport, 28 km from Nashik Railway Station and 19 km from Nashik Central Bus Station.  

Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, Sula Vineyards, Pandav Leni Caves and Panchavati are among the attractions listed near the property.

As of 28 September 2026, at 10:05 AM, Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd share price is trading at ₹104.33 per share, reflecting a decline of 1.71% from the previous trading session.

With the opening of Lemon Tree Resort, Nashik, the company now has two properties in the city. The new resort combines accommodation with facilities for leisure stays, weddings and other events around the Gangapur Dam area.
