
L&T Finance has informed the stock exchanges that it has received a request from Nabha Power Limited (NPL) for reclassification from the 'Promoter Group' category to the 'Public' category.
The request has been made under Regulation 31A of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company said it received a letter from Nabha Power Limited dated June 26, 2026, seeking reclassification of its status.
L&T Finance clarified that Nabha Power currently holds nil shareholding in the company.
According to the filing, the request follows the cessation of Nabha Power as a subsidiary of L&T Power Development Limited (L&T PDL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited.
The change occurred after L&T PDL transferred its entire equity and convertible instruments held in Nabha Power to Torrent Power Limited.
L&T Finance said the reclassification request will be placed before its Board of Directors at the ensuing board meeting for consideration.
The company has not disclosed the date of the meeting.

As of 25 June 2026, L&T Finance share price was closed at ₹299.00 per share, reflecting a surge of 0.83% from the previous trading session.
