Krystal Integrated Services Ltd has secured three major municipal solid waste management contracts from the Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVCMC), with a combined contract value of approximately ₹275 crore.

The contracts are awarded for a five-year period, along with an additional three-month preparatory phase, and cover comprehensive sanitation and waste management services across multiple municipal wards.

Scope of Municipal Services

The mandates involve end-to-end municipal solid waste management in line with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. Krystal will be responsible for door-to-door waste collection, segregation, and transportation of municipal solid waste.

The scope also includes street sweeping, cleaning of public spaces, and sanitation services across residential, commercial, institutional, and other notified public areas within the Vasai–Virar municipal limits.

In addition, the company will ensure that segregated waste is transported to authorised processing, treatment, and disposal facilities, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory norms.

Operational Deployment and Compliance

To deliver uninterrupted and hygienic services, Krystal Integrated Services will deploy dedicated manpower, specialised vehicles, and modern equipment across all three wards. The company will operate under strict safety protocols and regulatory standards, ensuring consistent service quality while meeting civic and environmental requirements.

Strategic Importance of Vasai–Virar

The Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation serves one of Maharashtra’s fastest-growing urban regions, where rising population density has increased the demand for organised and professional sanitation services. These contracts reflect the municipality’s growing reliance on experienced facility management partners to support urban infrastructure and public health outcomes.

Speaking on the development, Mr. Sanjay Dighe, CEO and Director of Krystal Integrated Services Ltd, said, “Securing these multiple municipal sanitation mandates from Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation marks another important milestone for Krystal Integrated Services. Urban waste management is a critical public service that demands operational discipline, reliability, and regulatory compliance.”

He further added, “These engagements reinforce our ability to manage large-scale, people-intensive municipal operations while supporting city administrations in delivering cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable urban environments.”
