Niraj Shirgaokar's Business Background
Niraj Shirgaokar has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Bombay University and 15 years of experience with professionally managed multinational companies.
He is Managing Director of The Ugar Sugar Works Ltd, part of the Shirgaokar Group, which has interests spanning sugar, power, ethanol, IMFL, foundries and IT. He also co-founded iResearch Services Pvt. Ltd. in 2008.
Shirgaokar has served as President of the South India Sugar Mills Association and completed his term as President of the India Sugar Mills Association. He has also represented India in squash and won national-level honours.
Rama Kirloskar's Leadership Roles
Rama Kirloskar holds a double major in Mathematics and Biology from Bryn Mawr College, USA.
She is Joint Managing Director of Kirloskar Brothers Limited and Managing Director of Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Limited, a joint venture with Japan's Ebara Corporation. She also serves on the boards of Karad Projects and Motors Limited and Prakar Investments Private Limited.
Five-Year Board Continuation
All three directors will serve a second five-year term as Independent Directors and will not be liable to retire by rotation.
