Market volumes were heavily boosted by the delayed arrival of the monsoon season, driving strong growth in premium decorative coatings.
In the automotive vertical, the firm's volume intake continued to outpace the broader industry average.
Geopolitical supply disruptions in West India led to sharp raw material inflation and severe supply uncertainty, forcing the firm to introduce strategic price increases to mitigate currency and material shocks.
Looking ahead, festive demand linked to a later Diwali is expected to sustain high volume delivery.
The domestic paint industry, valued at approximately ₹82,500 crore as of March 2026, continues to possess strong long-term expansion avenues driven by automotive and real estate infrastructure push.
