As per the exchange filing, the company has classified the order as “Major”, which means its estimated value is above ₹4,000 crore.
The project adds another international oil and gas contract to KPIL's order book. The company has not disclosed the exact value of the award in the announcement.
UAE Gas Pipeline Project
KPIL will carry out the project on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction basis. The work covers a gas pipeline in the UAE, with the company taking responsibility across the EPC scope.
The order was received in the normal course of business, according to the company's filing.
Order Falls in Major Category
KPIL's classification puts the contract above the ₹4,000 crore mark. However, there is no specific contract amount disclosed beyond this classification in the press release.
The UAE project therefore becomes a sizeable addition to the company's international project pipeline, particularly within its oil and gas business.
Management Comments on the Win
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and CEO of KPIL, said the company was pleased to secure the international project. He pointed to KPIL's experience in the global oil and gas sector and said the order reflects its technical expertise and operational capabilities.
Mohnot also said the project supports the company's ability to scale its operations globally.
