Jammu & Kashmir Bank has cleared a plan to raise fresh equity capital with the fundraising structured through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), as per the exchange filings. 

The decision was taken at the bank's Board meeting on August 11, 2026, with the proposed issue capable of being undertaken in one or more tranches. 

₹1,000 Crore Capital Raising Plan 

Under the approved proposal, the bank can raise equity share capital up to ₹1,000 crore through the QIP route. 

The fundraising will be carried out in one or more tranches and requires approval from the bank's shareholders before proceeding.
