
IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited began FY27 on a strong note after the group reported a sharp increase in toll collections during April 2026, driven by traffic growth, tariff revisions and contribution from newly added highway projects.
IRB Group, which includes IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited along with its private and public InvIT platforms, reported toll revenue of ₹793 crore in April 2026 compared with ₹642 crore in April 2025, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 24%.
As per the exchange filings, Amitabh Murarka, CEO of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited, stated, “Its promising start of new financial year. We have commenced FY27 on a positive note, with revenue growth maintaining healthy momentum across our portfolio.
Toll revenue for the month grew by 24% Y-O-Y, driven by strong underlying traffic trends, addition of new projects, and tariff revisions. Backed by the resilience of the Indian economy, we remain confident of sustaining this growth trajectory in the coming months as well.”
Among the key contributors, IRB MP Expressway Private Limited, which operates the Mumbai Pune Expressway and Old Mumbai Pune Highway, generated toll revenue of ₹157 crore in April 2026 compared with ₹150 crore a year earlier.
IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway Private Limited reported revenue of ₹78.7 crore against ₹65.4 crore in April 2025.
Other projects including CG Tollway Limited, Udaipur Tollway Private Limited and Kishangarh Gulabpura Tollway Limited also recorded higher collections during the month.
The company additionally received revenue contribution from recently operationalised projects including IRB Bahraich Corridors Tollway Private Limited and IRB Chandigarh Baddi NH16 Tollway Private Limited, where tolling commenced from April 1, 2026.
IRB Group currently operates 28 highway assets with nearly 17,500 operational lane kilometres across 13 Indian states and an asset base of approximately ₹94,000 crore.
The company said it handles daily movement of around 1.5 million vehicles across its highway assets and contributes nearly 10% of India’s national toll revenue.
Its infrastructure network includes around 86 toll plazas and nearly 1,000 FASTag-compliant lanes with FASTag penetration of approximately 97%.

As of 11 May 2026, at 9:49 AM, IRB Infrastructure share price is trading at ₹21.32 per share, reflecting a decline of 0.21% from the previous closing price.
IRB Infrastructure’s latest toll collection performance highlights continued growth in traffic movement and operational scale as the company strengthens its position in India’s highway infrastructure and toll road sector.
