Intellect Design Arena Limited has secured a strategic enterprise AI mandate from a leading Indian financial services group. The engagement will see its Purple Fabric platform deployed to drive large-scale AI transformation across multiple entities within the organisation.
The mandate will initially span 5 entities, laying the groundwork for long-term enterprise-wide AI adoption. The diversified financial services group operates across consumer lending, merchant lending, insurance, payments, asset management and wealth solutions, serving millions through a digital-first model.
The platform is designed to deliver enhanced operational intelligence, cross-functional collaboration and measurable business outcomes across core financial workflows. The engagement marks what the company describes as a major milestone for governed, enterprise-ready AI adoption in India.
The mandate followed an 8-month competitive evaluation process involving technical assessments, workshops and leadership-level discussions. Purple Fabric was selected for its deterministic knowledge architecture and enterprise orchestration capabilities.
Ramanan S V, CEO India and South Asia, said, “AI must move beyond experimentation and become a structured enterprise capability,” adding that in regulated environments intelligence must be “governed, deterministic, and aligned to generating measurable business impact.” He further noted that the mandate reflects a “clear strategic intent to embed AI into the core of business architecture.”
Purple Fabric integrates over 30 years of financial domain expertise and more than 20 million engineering hours, enabling enterprises to operationalise AI at scale through structured knowledge, orchestration and optimisation layers.
