At the operating level, earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose to ₹9,743 crore, marking a 16.6% quarter-on-quarter increase. The company's EBIT margin expanded to 21% from 18.4% in the previous quarter.
Profit before tax increased 17% sequentially to ₹10,797 crore, while basic earnings per share stood at ₹21.01, compared with ₹16.17 in the preceding quarter.
Infosys has fixed June 25, 2026, as the payment date for its final dividend for FY26. Together with the interim dividend of ₹23 per share paid earlier, the company's total dividend payout for the financial year stands at ₹48 per share.
