Infosys has announced an extension of its long-standing collaboration with the University of Nottingham, a globally recognised institution ranked among the top universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2026.
The partnership aims to ensure high performance, reliability, and security compliance for the university’s critical Student Management System.
The collaboration builds on a relationship that began in 2017 and reflects the university’s continued focus on digital transformation to support its global academic operations.
Since the start of the collaboration, Infosys has supported a major transformation of the university’s Student Information System. The initiative helped streamline application processes and enhance compliance reporting, improving operational efficiency across the institution.
As a result of these efforts, incident volumes were reduced by around 70%, while system availability and performance improved by nearly 30%. In addition, the transformation contributed to more than a 35% reduction in infrastructure costs and enhanced the overall user experience for students and staff.
Under the extended partnership, Infosys will continue to support and maintain NottinghamHub, the university’s Student Information System. The company will focus on improving key processes across the student lifecycle, helping enhance both student and academic journeys.
The collaboration will also include infrastructure modernisation and improvements in application availability. Security will be strengthened through the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensuring better protection for digital platforms and user data.
Infosys will leverage its advanced technology platforms to drive the transformation. These include Infosys Cobalt, which supports enterprises in accelerating their cloud journey, and Infosys Topaz Fabric, an AI-driven services platform designed to unify infrastructure, data, and applications.
These technologies will help automate processes, integrate systems, and enable data-driven decision-making across the university’s global campuses.
On March 25, 2026, Infosys share price opened at ₹1,270.00, touching the day’s high at ₹1,290.60, as of 11:31 AM on the NSE.
