
The Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) valued at ₹738.61 crore, including GST, for a major water infrastructure project in Rajasthan.
The order has been awarded by the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Office of the Chief Engineer, JICA Funded Projects, Jaipur, Government of Rajasthan.
The contract involves the design and construction of a Narmada-based Water Supply Project for 275 villages located in the Dhorimanna and Chouhtan blocks of Barmer district.
The project falls under Package CP-04 (Chouhtan-2) of the JICA-funded Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluorosis Mitigation Project Phase II and will be executed on an SPR basis.
The project has been awarded as an Item Rate Contract covering design, build, operation and maintenance activities.
The execution period is 24 months, followed by a one-year Defect Notification Period and 10 years of Operations and Maintenance (O&M). The total contract value stands at ₹738.61 crore, including GST.
The project is intended to strengthen water supply infrastructure across 275 villages in Barmer district through a Narmada-based distribution system.
It forms part of the Rajasthan Rural Water Supply & Fluorosis Mitigation Project Phase II, which is being implemented with JICA funding.
As of 03 July 2026, at 2:02 PM, Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited share price was trading at ₹352.65 per share, reflecting a surge of 5.22% from the previous trading session.
