The profit after tax also increased significantly to ₹50,147 crore for financial year 2026. This performance continues a steady upward trend observed since the financial year 2022. 

Annual Deposit Growth 

Total period-end deposits reached ₹1,794,625 crore at March 31, 2026. This indicates a year-on-year growth rate of 11.4%, driven mainly by term deposits. 

Average current and savings account deposits grew by 9.7% year-on-year. They reached a total value of ₹614,736 crore during the same financial year.
