
Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGS), through its subsidiary OneOTT Intertainment Ltd., has partnered with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to expand broadband connectivity under a large-scale digital infrastructure initiative.
As per the exchnage filings, OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Transformation Commission (STC), Government of Uttar Pradesh, to implement Project Ganga (Government Assisted Network for Growth & Advancement).
The project aims to provide high-speed wired broadband connectivity to more than 2 million households across Uttar Pradesh within the next 2–3 years.
As part of the initiative, 8,000–10,000 Digital Service Providers (DSPs) will be created at the Nyaya Panchayat level, enabling broadband access for households and enterprises.
Manoj Kumar Singh, CEO of the State Transformation Commission, said the initiative would help strengthen the digital ecosystem in the state and expand access to key services. He noted that the project aims to enhance connectivity for “education, healthcare, government services and MSMEs through reliable digital infrastructure.”
The initiative is expected to generate more than 100,000 jobs, including both direct and indirect employment, while also encouraging youth participation and women entrepreneurship.
Digital Service Providers involved in the programme will receive training, financing support, network infrastructure and technology enablement to support the rollout of broadband services.
Vynsley Fernandes, Whole-Time Director of HGS and Managing Director & CEO of OneOTT Intertainment Ltd., said the project will expand digital connectivity while creating economic opportunities, adding that the goal is to “drive entrepreneurship and strengthen digital access across communities.”
HGS and its broadband platform NXTDIGITAL currently connect more than 5 million homes across India, covering over 4,500 pin codes and 1,500 cities and towns, supported by more than 15,000 franchise partners and over 2 lakh kilometres of fibre network.
The digital ecosystem under the initiative will support services such as broadband internet, IPTV, OTT platforms, CCTV solutions, satellite internet, and cybersecurity services for households, businesses, and institutions.

As of 10 March 2026, at 10:07 AM, Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd share price is trading at ₹390.55 per share, reflecting a gain of 12.49% from the previous closing price.
Project Ganga aims to accelerate broadband penetration across Uttar Pradesh while building a large network of digital service providers to expand connectivity and digital services throughout the state.
