H.G. Infra Engineering Limited has strengthened its investment in the energy storage segment by subscribing to equity shares of its wholly owned subsidiary, H.G. Banaskantha Bess Private Limited.
The company has infused ₹48.52 crore into the subsidiary via a rights issue, acquiring equity shares as part of the transaction.
This investment represents a strategic capital allocation aimed at supporting the subsidiary’s growth and operational development.
The subsidiary operates in the battery energy storage systems (BESS) space, a critical segment within the evolving energy infrastructure ecosystem.
The investment aligns with the company’s broader objective of expanding into future-focused energy solutions.
As the entity remains a wholly owned subsidiary, the transaction falls under related party classification. However, no additional promoter group interest exists beyond the company’s existing shareholding, maintaining a clear ownership structure.
H.G. Banaskantha Bess Private Limited was incorporated in December 2024 and currently has no reported turnover. The fresh capital infusion is expected to support initial scale-up and business expansion in the coming phases.
