HFCL Limited has secured a contract worth approximately ₹2,666.09 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for the BharatNet Phase-III project in the Uttar Pradesh (West) Telecom Circle.
The order further strengthens HFCL's position in the telecom infrastructure segment and expands its participation in India's rural digital connectivity initiatives.

The contract has been awarded by RVNL and pertains to the BharatNet Phase-III programme, which aims to enhance broadband connectivity across rural and underserved regions.
The latest award comes in addition to an earlier ₹2,167.65 crore BharatNet Phase-III contract secured by HFCL for projects in Uttar Pradesh telecom circles.
Scope Includes Network Deployment and Maintenance
Under the contract, HFCL will supply telecom equipment and related accessories along with installation and commissioning services.
The scope also includes the creation of an optical fibre cable telecom network and maintenance of the project for a period of 10 years, including a one-year warranty period.
Order Value Stands at ₹2,666.09 Crore
The total contract value is approximately ₹2,666.09 crore, comprising capital expenditure of about ₹1,192.82 crore and operational expenditure of around ₹1,473.27 crore.
The order represents one of the company's significant contract wins in the telecom infrastructure space.
Execution to Span More Than a Decade
HFCL will complete the implementation phase of the project within 2 years.
Following deployment, the company will undertake operations and maintenance activities for 10 years, including the warranty period.
