Hexaware Technologies has partnered with UK healthcare services company HBSUK to introduce a digital system for clinician onboarding and workforce management, as per an exchange filing dated June 3, 2026.
This comes as healthcare providers across the UK continue to deal with staffing requirements alongside a large patient waiting list. The companies said around 7.22 million people are currently awaiting treatment through the National Health Service (NHS).
Against this backdrop, healthcare organisations are under pressure to recruit clinicians and support staff while completing the necessary compliance and employment checks required before workers can be deployed.
Under the arrangement, clinicians will be able to submit professional credentials, identity documents and Right-to-Work records through a digital portal. The system is intended to replace parts of a process that is often handled through separate systems and manual paperwork.
HBSUK said its compliance team will continue to verify documents and oversee regulatory checks. The companies noted that the digital platform changes how information is collected and processed, while existing compliance requirements remain in place.
The system has been built on Journey36's cloud-based App36 platform, which is being used for recruitment, onboarding and workforce administration activities.
According to the companies, the platform supports development and configuration through a combination of technology tools and automated processes.
Further additions are planned during June, including rota management, payment reconciliation and updates linked to HBSUK's contact centre operations.
HBSUK has worked with NHS organisations and private healthcare providers since 2012. The company supports clinical capacity programmes and patient pathways across the healthcare sector.
It has supported AXA Health's clinical pathways since 2020 and became a subsidiary of AXA Health in 2024.

As of June 3, 2026, 1:53 pm, Hexaware Technologies share price was trading at ₹534.05, down 2.84% from the previous closing price.
The partnership focuses on digitising clinician onboarding and related workforce administration functions. Additional operational features are scheduled to be added to the platform in the coming months.
