Hexaware Technologies Limited has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver artificial intelligence enabled software development lifecycle (SDLC) capabilities for enterprises globally.
The initiative is designed to enhance software engineering efficiency through automation, structured development workflows, and AI assisted coding practices.
The collaboration builds upon the companies’ existing Strategic Collaboration Agreement, focusing on accelerating cloud adoption, application modernization, and AI led digital transformation across enterprise environments.
At the center of the initiative is Hexaware’s RapidX®, an AI powered software engineering platform, integrated with Kiro an agentic integrated development environment (IDE). The combined solution aims to help development teams move from early prototypes to production ready applications through structured workflows and automated processes.
According to the company, the platform is designed to deliver four primary outcomes: reduced time to market, improved developer productivity, scalable production grade code delivery, and modernization of legacy systems while maintaining operational stability.
Sanjay Salunkhe, President and Global Head Digital and Software Services at Hexaware, stated that enterprises adopting AI in development increasingly require reliability and traceability in software releases. The new solution seeks to introduce governance and structured standards into AI assisted development environments.
1. AI Powered Development Experience
The solution incorporates virtual subject matter experts and specification driven development models that convert natural language requirements into structured implementations. It integrates enterprise SDLC practices with agentic tooling within a unified development workflow.
Deployments will operate within customer AWS environments, with private large language model (LLM) options available through Amazon Bedrock. The framework also aligns with enterprise SecOps requirements, including data residency controls, monitoring, access management, and audit support.
The platform supports the entire software lifecycle from requirements gathering and backlog creation to design, coding, testing, documentation, and ongoing maintenance. It is also intended to assist enterprises managing complex legacy application ecosystems.
Hexaware stated that the initiative aims to help organizations accelerate software delivery while improving quality and maintaining governance standards.
Hexaware Technologies is a global technology and business process services provider focused on enabling digital transformation through cloud, automation, and AI driven solutions.
