
HEC Infra Projects has announced the receipt of a new work order valued at ₹11.48 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India. The contract relates to augmentation work at the Neemrana power substation in Rajasthan and includes supply, erection, testing and commissioning activities.
The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing submitted under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements regulations.
According to the company’s exchange filing dated 19 May 2026, the project involves augmentation of transformation capacity at the 400/220 kV Neemrana (PG) substation.
The scope of work includes supply, erection, testing and commissioning for the installation of one 500 MVA, 400/220 kV ICT (3rd) along with associated bays.
The company stated that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is expected to be executed over a period of 15 months.
The order forms part of infrastructure development activities in the power transmission segment. Projects involving substation expansion and transformation capacity augmentation are generally aimed at supporting electricity demand growth and grid reliability.
HEC Infra Projects said the latest contract could support its business expansion in the transmission and infrastructure sector.
In its filing, the company noted that it intends to continue bidding for similar projects in the future across both government and private sector segments in other states.
The company indicated that opportunities in the transmission infrastructure sector remain significant, particularly in projects related to grid expansion and power distribution upgrades.
HEC Infra Projects clarified that none of its promoters or promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity. The company also confirmed that the order does not fall under related party transactions.
The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations and the related SEBI circular on material event disclosures.
Shares of HEC Infra Projects were trading at ₹126.85 on May 20, 2026, at 11:21 AM, compared to the previous close of ₹125.50. The stock gained ₹1.35, or 1.08%, during the trading session following the announcement of the new work order.
