The net profit for the quarter rose by 59.8% year-on-year to ₹179.96 crore from ₹112.64 crore. However, the net profit saw a decline of 10.7% quarter-on-quarter, decreasing from ₹201.57 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
For the fiscal year 2026, the company reported a total income of ₹5,385.97 crore and a net profit of ₹595.02 crore.
In Q1FY27, Granules India Limited's revenue share from North America was 72%, down from 77% in Q1FY26. The revenue share from Europe increased to 16% from 13% in the same period last year.
The revenue from operations in Q1FY27 was contributed by Finished Dosages (FD) at 74%, Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (API) at 13%, Pharmaceutical Formulation Intermediates (PFI) at 9%, and Peptides CDMO at 4%.

The Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) improved to 18.0% in Q1FY27 from 17.6% in FY26. The net debt stood at ₹1,012 million, a reduction of ₹8,467 million from Q1FY26, with a net debt to EBITDA ratio of 0.07x.
