Gokaldas Exports Share Price Drops Over 10% After Q2FY27 Results

Gokaldas Exports reported total income of ₹1,135 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with ₹1,003 crore a year earlier, as per exchange filings dated November 6, 2026.
Income increased 13% year on year in a seasonally weak quarter. EBITDA rose to ₹127 crore from ₹84 crore a year earlier, an increase of 52%. The EBITDA margin stood at 11.2%, compared with 8.3% in Q2FY26, an improvement of 287 basis points.
Profit before tax increased to ₹49 crore from ₹19 crore. Profit after tax was ₹41 crore, against ₹8 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Business Performance
India business income grew 10% year on year, which the company attributed to its order book and execution. Income from the Africa business increased 32%, on higher volumes and better realisations.
Improved product mix and productivity gains supported EBITDA. However, the comparison was against a lower base in Q2FY26, when results were affected by US tariffs.
Higher wages and factor costs, partly due to rising oil prices, restricted the improvement during the latest quarter.
