GMR Airports Share Price in Focus After GMR Hospitality Secures F&B Contract at Delhi Airport

GMR Hospitality Limited (GHL), a subsidiary of GMR Airports Limited, has been selected to develop and operate food and beverage (F&B) outlets at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, as per a filing dated September 23, 2026.
GHL will undertake the designing, financing, development and setting up of the outlets, besides their operation, management and maintenance.
Licence Runs Until May 2036
The company has entered into a licence agreement with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) for the outlets. The initial term of the agreement runs until May 2036.
The agreement can be extended by another 10 years. The filing does not provide details on the number or individual names of the F&B outlets covered under the contract.
Revenue-Based Licence Fee
The licence fee will be paid to DIAL under a revenue-sharing arrangement. The amount will depend on the revenue generated by the F&B outlets on a year-on-year basis.
GHL will also have to pay a Minimum Monthly Guarantee to DIAL, along with advertisement fees. The estimated aggregate licence fee is around ₹49 crore for FY2026-27 and around ₹109 crore for FY2027-28.
Related Party Transaction
GMR Airports said its promoter, promoter group and group companies do not have any interest in the transaction apart from their existing direct or indirect shareholding in DIAL and GHL.
The transaction has been classified as a related party transaction and is being undertaken on an arm’s-length basis. The company said the required approvals were obtained under the SEBI Listing Regulations and the Companies Act, 2013.
