The project includes the design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar-powered agricultural pumping systems.
The order includes the installation of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP solar-powered pumps to expand solar-based irrigation infrastructure across the state.
According to the company, the initiative aims to provide farmers with reliable and sustainable energy for irrigation while reducing dependence on conventional power sources.

The company said the latest project reinforces its long-standing association with the state utility and its participation in Maharashtra's renewable energy initiatives.

The project is scheduled to be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the Work Order/Notice to Proceed (NTP).
As of March 2026, GK Energy had installed more than 1.4 lakh renewable energy systems, commissioned over 617 MW of renewable energy capacity and expanded its operations across 7,500+ villages in India.
Commenting on the development, Chairman & Managing Director Gopal Kabra said, "Our strength lies in combining deep rural market understanding with robust execution capabilities."
He added that expanding clean energy access for agriculture is about "empowering farmers with reliable infrastructure that supports productivity, sustainability and long-term resilience."
