Fortis Healthcare Share Price in Focus: Delhi High Court Orders Forensic Audit

Fortis Healthcare Ltd has informed the exchanges that a single-judge bench of the Delhi High Court passed an order on August 31, 2026, in connection with applications filed by Daiichi Sankyo Company Ltd.
Forensic Audit Ordered
It also ordered the appointment of a forensic auditor to probe the transfer or dilution of shareholding of Singh Brothers, former promoters of Fortis Healthcare. The audit will also review the change in control of the company thereafter and contribution thereof by the interested parties including banks, financial institutions and erstwhile promoters/its controlled entities.
No Liability Imposed on Fortis
Fortis Healthcare said the company has not been held liable, penalized or fined by the court. The SC further also stated that Fortis was neither a party to the original dispute nor a judgment debtor in the execution proceedings.
The company also noted that the forensic audit is investigatory in nature and does not, by itself, establish liability against Fortis.
