Emami Limited's Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Ravi Varma is set to leave the company on August 31, 2026. He put in his resignation on August 28, bringing his current stint with the company to a close.  

Varma is leaving to look for new professional opportunities and further career growth. In his resignation letter, he also said there was no other reason for his decision.  

Varma to Leave in The End of August 

His departure will also end his role as Emami's Nodal Officer. The company has not mentioned a replacement for him in the announcement.  

Before leaving, Varma thanked Emami's board for the support and guidance he received during his time with the company. He also wished the organisation well going forward.

As of 28 August 2026, Emami Limited share price closed at ₹381 per share, reflecting a decline of 1.73% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

Varma's exit will take effect on August 31. He has cited his plans for the next stage of his career as the reason for moving on, while Emami has yet to name his replacement.
