Eicher Motors Limited has announced the launch of the Flying Flea C6, the first electric motorcycle from Royal Enfield’s new urban mobility brand. The development marks the company’s entry into the electric two-wheeler segment, with a phased rollout beginning in Bengaluru. The announcement reflects a strategic shift towards electric mobility alongside its legacy internal combustion portfolio.
Royal Enfield has introduced the Flying Flea C6, an electric motorcycle designed for urban mobility.
The model will be available starting April 10, 2026, at the brand’s first dedicated store in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, with bookings opening the same day. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of May 2026.
The motorcycle is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with an alternative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option available at ₹1.99 lakh. The rollout will follow a phased, city-wise expansion strategy.
The Flying Flea C6 draws inspiration from the original Flying Flea motorcycle of the 1940s, combining heritage styling with modern engineering. It features a lightweight structure and a distinct girder fork suspension, along with a neo-vintage design approach.
Available in Storm Black and Flea Green colour options, the motorcycle includes a touchscreen instrument cluster and customisation options such as adjustable footpegs and removable pillion seating.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 3.91 kWh battery and delivers a top speed of 115 km/h. It offers connected features including WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G integration, along with remote monitoring capabilities.
Charging options include rapid, standard and trickle modes, with the battery capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just over an hour. The model also incorporates safety and control systems such as lean-angle ABS, traction control and regenerative braking.
The launch represents Eicher Motors’ entry into the electric mobility space through its Royal Enfield brand. The initiative is supported by in-house development, with a dedicated team working on both hardware and software integration.
The company has indicated a pipeline of electric two-wheelers, suggesting a gradual expansion of its EV portfolio in the coming years.
As of April 10, 2026 (12:04 PM), Eicher Motors Limited’s stock recorded a positive movement. The stock was trading at ₹7,376.00, up by ₹228.50 or 3.20% compared to its previous close of ₹7,147.50, indicating a constructive market response to the announcement.
