EaseMyTrip Share Price in Focus; Unveils EMTev Electric Buses in Bhopal, Targets 5,000 Buses Annually

EaseMyTrip has entered the electric bus segment with the Bhopal debut of buses from its electric mobility arm, Easy Green Mobility, or EMTev, as per the exchange filing. The move is part of its Vision 2030 plans, which include building capabilities across electric bus manufacturing, fleet operations, and service support.
EMTev is targeting the annual production of 5,000 electric buses within the next five years. The company is also working on increasing the domestic sourcing and manufacturing of components as the business develops.
Bhopal Marks EMTev's Electric Bus Rollout
The Bhopal deployment is an early step in EMTev's electric bus operations. Its initial portfolio includes a 12-metre electric seater coach with a 45+D seating capacity.
The bus uses a 423.9 kWh LFP battery, PMSM motor, and air suspension. It has a stated range of up to 350 km and a top speed of up to 100 km/h.
Bus Comes with Fast Charging and Safety Systems
The coach has a liquid-cooled LFP battery and supports fast charging through a dual-gun configuration. Its fixed-battery design is intended for charging at designated locations.
EMTev has also equipped the buses with EBS and ESC braking systems, camera-based monitoring and a centralised control tower for tracking vehicle and battery data.
EMTev Builds Out Technology Roadmap
The company is developing AI-enabled driver monitoring and blind-spot detection, while ADAS features form part of its wider technology roadmap.
EMTev's 12-metre and 13.5-metre electric bus models have also received type approval, with the immediate focus on committed deliveries and strengthening operating and service infrastructure.
Management Focuses on Scale and Localisation
Manoj Soni, CEO of EMTev, said the company is focusing on intra-city and intercity electric buses with long-range battery technology, fast charging, safety features and passenger comfort. He also pointed to operating costs and total costs of ownership as factors supporting the shift towards electric mobility.
Rikant Pittie, CEO & Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, said the company aims to build capabilities in electric bus manufacturing, operations and localisation under its Vision 2030 roadmap.
Easy Trip Planners Share Price Performance
As of 25 September 2026, at 12:40 PM, Easy Trip Planners Ltd (EaseMyTrip) share price was trading at ₹5.83 per share, reflecting a surge of 0.52% from the previous trading session.

The Bhopal rollout gives EMTev a starting point for its electric bus operations, while the 5,000-bus annual target sets out the scale the company wants to build over the next five years.
