On August 4, 2026, Dredging Corporation of India Limited released its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.  

The company reported a total income of ₹356.47 crore and net profit of ₹11.24 crore for the quarter ending June 30, 2026.

The company's total expenses for the three-month period escalated to ₹34,497.11 lakhs, up from ₹26,650.30 lakhs in the same quarter last year.  

A deeper look into the financials reveals that sub-contract expenses constituted the largest cost component at ₹12,555.94 lakhs, surging heavily from ₹4,083.74 lakhs year-on-year.  

Other key expenses included employee benefit expenses at ₹3,029.50 lakhs, finance costs at ₹987.61 lakhs, depreciation at ₹4,153.05 lakhs, and general other expenses at ₹13,771.01 lakhs. 

Balance Sheet Analysis Highlights Robust Asset Base 

As of June 30, 2026, the company's total assets stood at ₹3,09,991.34 lakhs, scaling up from ₹3,06,570.88 lakhs recorded at the end of the previous fiscal year on March 31, 2026.  

Non-current assets accounted for ₹2,10,906.75 lakhs, featuring property, plant, and equipment valued at ₹1,21,430.27 lakhs. Meanwhile, current assets rose to ₹99,084.59 lakhs, driven by an expansion in inventories to ₹18,128.03 lakhs and trade receivables climbing up to ₹44,277.97 lakhs. 

Debt Profile, Capital Structure, and Financial Ratios 

The company maintains a stable capital structure with a paid-up equity share capital of ₹2,800.00 lakhs, consisting of shares with a face value of ₹10 each.  

Total equity reached ₹1,24,455.22 lakhs, providing a strong net worth base. Long-term borrowings decreased slightly to ₹70,739.06 lakhs from ₹81,514.68 lakhs in March.  

Key ratios revealed a debt-equity ratio of 0.89:1, a current ratio of 0.88:1, an interest coverage ratio of 6.48:1, and a net profit margin of 3.98%.
