
On July 29, 2026, Devyani International Limited reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.
The company saw a rise in total income and net profit, marking a substantial improvement compared to the previous year and quarter.
For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, Devyani International Limited's total income increased by 16.7% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,599.71 crore, up from ₹1,370.48 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
The company also experienced a 10.3% rise quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from ₹1,451.01 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
Net profit for the June 2026 quarter surged by 667.7% YoY to ₹17.10 crore, compared to ₹2.23 crore a year ago.
This is a significant turnaround from a net loss of ₹9.84 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
For the financial year 2026, Devyani International Limited reported a total income of ₹5,656.59 crore. However, the company recorded a net loss of ₹42.54 crore for the same period.
The company achieved a significant bottom-line recovery compared to consecutive net losses recorded in the preceding quarter.
Devyani International posted a consolidated profit after tax from continuing operations of ₹17.10 crore for Q1 FY27, turning around from a consolidated net loss of ₹13.39 crore in Q4 FY26.
Total consolidated expenses for the quarter stood at ₹1,576.85 crore, with raw material and ingredient procurement consumption accounting for ₹488.24 crore.
Consequently, consolidated basic and diluted earnings per share rebounded to ₹0.12, moving back into positive territory.
Alongside financial improvements, the company advanced its strategic structural reorganization to consolidate operations under its food and beverage umbrella.
The board highlighted progress on the mega-merger scheme of arrangement involving the amalgamation of Sapphire Foods India Limited into Devyani International.
Under the approved swap terms, Devyani will issue 177 fresh equity shares of face value ₹1 each for every 100 shares held in Sapphire Foods.
Concurrently, the group’s corporate structural cleanup advanced as the National Company Law Tribunal issued its first motion order regarding the internal integration of its wholly owned hospitality unit, Sky Gate Hospitality.
