DEE Development Engineers Share Price in Focus; Order Book Stands at ₹2,435 Crore After August Updates

DEE Development Engineers Ltd has shared its order and execution details for August 2026. The company received orders worth ₹94.18 crore during the month and executed orders worth ₹87.37 crore. Its order book stood at ₹2,435.61 crore as of August 31.
The company works across piping, heavy fabrication, gas plants and power-related businesses. The August figures include its India and Thailand operations.
August Order Inflow and Execution
DEE Development Engineers received ₹94.18 crore in new orders during August. The biggest contribution came from its oil and gas business in India, which brought in ₹54.26 crore. Its power business in India added ₹7.16 crore, while the others category brought in ₹0.30 crore.
The Thailand business received ₹28.40 crore of power-related orders during the month. DEE Fabricom India recorded a negative order inflow of ₹1.18 crore, while Molsieve Designs received ₹0.45 crore. The power division added ₹3.34 crore, Malwa Power added ₹0.23 crore and the pellet unit added ₹1.22 crore.
During the month, the company executed orders worth ₹87.37 crore. The total order book stood at ₹2,435.61 crore at the end of August.
Order Book at ₹2,435.61 Crore
DEE Development Engineers had an opening order book of ₹2,428.20 crore on August 1. After the month's new orders and execution, the closing order book was ₹2,435.61 crore on August 31.
For FY2026-27 up to August 31, the company reported cumulative order inflow of ₹955.46 crore, while cumulative orders executed stood at ₹461.55 crore. Cumulative order inflow including amendments and currency fluctuations was ₹972.62 crore.
The company has also clarified that the value of orders executed is based on invoices raised. The revenue recorded in the accounts can be different because revenue is recognised based on when goods or services are transferred to customers.
Power Division and Malwa Power Update
DEE Development Engineers said its power division continues to supply electricity to PSPCL at the prevailing tariff of ₹7.47 per unit. This follows a stay by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on the earlier tariff order of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
For Malwa Power, the PSERC fixed the tariff for FY2025-26 at ₹5.224 per kWh, with a 5% annual increase in the variable cost. The tariff for FY2026-27 is ₹5.437 per kWh. The company has challenged the tariff order before APTEL.
The company has projected FY2027 revenue of around ₹47.71 crore from this business, including ₹23.4 crore from the pellet plant.
