
DCM Shriram Limited and Bayer CropScience Limited have entered into a strategic partnership to promote sustainable agriculture in India.
The collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both companies to enhance the agricultural ecosystem through innovative and farmer-centric solutions.
On December 10, 2025, DCM Shriram and Bayer CropScience signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities in agri-inputs, digital advisory, and sustainable farming practices.
The partnership will focus on strengthening the value chain and supporting farmer organisations in India.
The collaboration will explore synergies in crop solutions, seeds, specialty plant nutrition, and digital tools. Both companies will also assess opportunities to support sustainable agriculture initiatives, including pilots in soil health and carbon sequestration.
As per exchange filings, Mr Ajay S Shriram, Chairman & Senior Managing Director of DCM Shriram Ltd, expressed delight in partnering with Bayer to explore new avenues for India's farming communities.
He emphasised the aim to support sustainable agriculture and create long-term value for farmers.
Mr Simon Wiebusch, CEO of Bayer CropScience Ltd, highlighted the importance of resilience and value-chain integration in Indian agriculture. He noted that the partnership would enhance market access and help farmers tap into emerging opportunities.
