Cyient Share Price in Focus; To Acquire AI And Data Engineering Firm TAO Digital

Cyient Limited has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TAO Digital Solutions Inc., a California-headquartered company specialising in AI-driven data and product engineering services.
The proposed transaction is subject to customary approvals and closing conditions and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of FY27.
The acquisition forms part of Cyient's strategy to expand its technology portfolio and enhance its position in high-growth digital transformation segments.
Acquisition To Strengthen AI And Data Capabilities
Founded in 2022, TAO Digital has built operations across the United States, Canada, India, Taiwan and Europe, serving clients in industries such as automotive, high-tech and healthcare.
The company focuses on solving enterprise technology challenges through expertise in data engineering, AI-powered platforms, cloud technologies, and digital transformation solutions.
Following the acquisition, Cyient expects to strengthen its capabilities in enterprise AI deployment, data modernisation, cloud-native platforms, application engineering, and digital product development.
Expanding Presence Across Key Markets
The transaction is also expected to deepen Cyient's footprint in North America while broadening its access to customers across multiple technology-intensive sectors.
TAO Digital brings a global workforce of more than 3,500 professionals and relationships with several large enterprise clients.
According to the company, the combined capabilities will help customers accelerate digital transformation initiatives and build stronger data foundations to support large-scale AI adoption.
