On July 13, 2026, Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has announced its provisional physical volume performance for the first quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.  

The company reported handling 14,04,821 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs), marking an 8.89% Year-on-Year (YoY) increase from 12,90,101 TEUs in the same period of the previous fiscal year. 

EXIM Segment Drives Core Operational Growth 

The Export-Import (EXIM) cargo handling segment was the primary contributor to CONCOR's volume growth.  

This segment saw a 9.78% YoY rise, with volumes increasing from 9,73,875 TEUs in the quarter ending June 2025 to 10,69,082 TEUs in the quarter ending June 2026.  

This growth reflects stable trade corridors across CONCOR’s network of inland container depots and port-side terminals. 

Domestic Throughput Maintains Upward Trajectory 

The domestic shipping vertical also showed positive momentum, with a 6.17% YoY increase. Domestic logistics traffic expanded to 3,35,739 TEUs for the quarter ending June 2026, up from 3,16,226 TEUs in the same quarter of the previous year.  

This growth indicates robust internal supply chains and demand for domestic containerised rail freight across India.
