BSE Limited has appointed Abhishek Jha as its Joint Chief Information Security Officer. He will also be part of the company's Key Management Personnel and Senior Management. 

The appointment will start from September 1, 2026, according to the company's filing.  

Abhishek Jha Has Over 23 Years of Experience 

Abhishek Jha has more than 23 years of experience in cybersecurity. He has worked in financial services, engineering, and defence. 

His experience includes cybersecurity strategy, governance, regulatory compliance, and crisis management.  

He holds a Gold Medal in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), a Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law and Cyber Forensics, and an MBA in FinTech.  

He is also a frequent speaker on cybersecurity, cyber resilience, and emerging technology risks at industry and professional forums. 

Currently Working at Tata Technologies 

Jha is currently the Global Chief Information Security Officer at Tata Technologies. 

Before this, he worked at Citibank. He was BISO for Citi India Retail and later worked as CISO for Citi Global Markets. He has also served with the Indian Air Force.

BSE Share Price Performance 

As of August 18, 2026, BSE share price closed at ₹3,308.00 per share, reflecting a decline of 0.70% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

Abhishek Jha will start his new role at BSE from September 1, 2026. He has more than 23 years of experience in cybersecurity.
